MemorySafe was designed to backup your YesDVD® on secure servers, essentially “future-proofing”
your memories. The Process: After your original media transfer service is complete we store your YesDVD on a secure server, making it easier to view and share online. Unlike other media storage companies, YesVideo™ uploads and stores the digital media version of your YesDVD for you, leaving you with more time and less hassle. Not only is the digital version of your YesDVD backed up and protected on YesVideo’s secure servers, it is stored in two separate locations. If your YesDVD becomes lost or damaged, ordering a new copy thru MemorySafe is fast and easy. |
| Q: | What is YesDVD? |
| A: | YesDVD is YesVideo's digital transfer program that converts home videos, movie film reels, slides and prints to DVD. Available at over 27,000 U.S. retail locations, this is the easiest way to digitize old family memories. No complicated software or expensive equipment needed. Simply drop off your media (videotape, film reels, etc.) and pick up the YesDVD in about 3 weeks. |
| Q: | Why isn't transferring to DVD enough? |
| A: | Digital backup is the safest way to preserve memories for generations. Physical media, such as tapes, reels, and even DVDs may be damaged or lost. Digital backups cannot be lost in a flood, fire or natural disaster. Digital backup also makes them accessible for the next popular digital formats. |
| Q: | Why is it important to "future-proof" my memories? |
| A: | Your photos and videos are no less important than your other data, yet people often forget to include them in the backup plan. YesVideo makes backing up your YesDVDs easy — we do it for you. Over time the way we view media will continue to change. By protecting your YesDVD on our secure servers, you are “future-proofing” your memories, which will make them easy to convert into the next popular viewing formats. |
| Q: | Is MemorySafe compatible with all DVDs? |

- We cannot backup the following types of DVDs:
- Store bought Hollywood produced DVDs - Copyrighted DVDs - DVDs that you created yourself - DVDs that were created from another transfer service - YesDVDs that are not MemorySafe compatible |
| Q: | Is MemorySafe compatible with all YesDVDs? |
| A: | If you processed your original media transfer through CVS, Walgreens or Bartell Drugs stores after November 2009 your YesDVD should have a Screening Room Code on the back of the DVD box and is MemorySafe-compatible. |
| Q: | What is a Screening Room code? |
| A: | On the back of your YesDVD case there is a 10 digit alpha-numeric code. For security reasons, this code is unique to the DVD transfer, and this code is required to access your video footage on the MemorySafe website. |
| Q: | What do I need to access my DVD movies on MemorySafe? |
| A: | All that is necessary to view the online digital version of your home movie is a Standard Internet browser on your PC or Macintosh (example: IE 7 and up, Opera, Firefox 3.x, Safari 3.x) and the Adobe Flash Player. |

If you are new to the MemorySafe service, you should have received a brochure with
your YesDVD and returned original movie footage.
The brochure gives simple instructions to view your YesDVD online. 1. Type www.myMemorySafe.com into your browser’s address field 2. Locate the Screening Room Code on the back of your YesDVD case 3. Enter the 10 digit Screening Room Access Code in the “enter code here” box 4. Enter your email address in the “Email address” box 5. Click the check box for Terms of Service 6. Click the “View my YesDVD” button 7. This takes you to the YesDVD Memory Manager page 8. Click on the thumbnail image in the YesDVD Title column taking you to the Screening Room 9. Your movie will begin to play in the Screening Room |
| Q: | Why should I create a MyMemorySafe.com account? |

We recommend that you complete the registration for your 30-day trial account. These
few steps add the convenience of a password to your account, increase account security
and allow you to easily share your movies with friends and family.
1. Click on the Memory Manager button 2. Click the “Protect My YesDVD” button in the upper right corner of the page 3. On the next screen enter your - First and Last Name - your email address - a password 4. Click the “Register Now” button Please check your email for a confirmation email that will activate your account. When you click on the link in the email you will be redirected to your account on www.myMemorySafe.com. |
| Q: | Should I create a MyMemorySafe.com account if I am not the owner of the video? |
| A: | No. You have the capability to watch the video without signing up for an account. |
| Q: | Can I try the MemorySafe service before purchasing the annual subscription? |
| A: | Yes! During the first 30 days, which starts after the DVD has been delivered to the store, the service is FREE. |
| Q: | What’s included in the 30-day MemorySafe trial? |

During the 30-day trial period
- You will be able to view and share your video - You can view and share your video and the 3 music video highlights - You can order additional DVD copies for $9.99 (plus taxes and $2.99 shipping) At the end of your 30-day trial, the account expires and your home movie will be deleted from our servers. Before your trial expires, you can purchase an annual subscription for a fee of $9.99 per DVD movie. |

A MemorySafe storage account enables you to complete the transfer process. You took
the first step of transferring your old media to DVD, now take the next step and

| Q: | How does YesVideo secure my personal information? |

The personal information you provide to YesVideo when registering online is classified
as “Registration Information”. Registration Information resides on a secure server
and is only accessible for customer support reasons. Customers and registered users
may be contacted occasionally to obtain feedback about upcoming features or to be
notified about major changes in the website.
When you choose to share your movies online with family and friends, they will not see your personal information. |
| Q: | Is my credit card information safe? |
| A: | Yes, we use a HTTPS protocol to provide encryption and secure your identification on the server during your credit card transaction. Your credit card information is not saved or stored after the check out process. |

| A: | Memory Manager is a secure, private website where your YesDVDs are stored. Once you log into your Memory Manager you have the capability to view, share, organize, manage, protect and order copies of your YesDVDs. |
| Q: | How can I add a new YesDVD to my Memory Manager? |

- Go to your Memory Manager page
- Below the list of your current YesDVD titles you’ll see a box that says “Add a YesDVD” - Enter the Screening Room Code from the back of the new YesDVD and click the “Submit” button - Your new YesDVD will be added to your movie titles |

- Log in to your MemorySafe account
- Click on the “Protect my Memories” button - On the “Backup YesDVDs” page select the movies you want to protect - Click the “Next” button - The new page gives you the option to order additional YesDVDs - Click the “Next” button - On this page enter your mailing address and credit card number We except the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard and American Express |
| Q: | How much does it cost to protect my home movies on MemorySafe? |
| A: | The annual charge per movie is $9.99. Charges will automatically renew at the day the previous subscription expires. |
| Q: | Can I have more than one movie in my MemorySafe account? |
| A: | Yes. You can build an entire home movie library for easy access, viewing and sharing. |
| Q: | Can I organize my movies in Memory Manager? |
| A: | Yes. Families can easily access their full collection of YesDVDs in Memory Manager. Generations of family memories that were originally recorded on videotapes, reels and slides can all be organized into one online library which makes sorting and viewing a breeze. |
| Q: | Can I order additional YesDVD movie copies from Memory Manager? |
| A: | Yes. You can securely order additional YesDVD copies as long as your MemorySafe account is active. |
| Q: | Can I delete Movies? |
| A: |
Yes.
- Log on to your account. - Click on “My Account” in the upper right corner. - Click on the Manage YesDVDs tab on the Account Settings screen - Select the movie you want to delete and click “Remove this YesDVD” *Note that once a movie is deleted from your account, it is also removed from YesVideo's servers. Be sure to delete with caution. |
| Q: | Can I get my older YesDVD home videos on to the MemorySafe Web Site? |

Unfortunately we cannot copy the video file format used on YesDVDs to store it on
the MemorySafe site.
You need to reprocess the original film or video tape through our retailer channel |
| Q: | How can I use MemorySafe to share my YesDVD movies with my friends and family? |
| A: |
After completing the registration on your MemorySafe account you are ready to share
your movies in a very convenient way. Follow these steps:
1. Log in to your MemorySafe account. 2. On your Memory Manager page click on the YesDVD title you want to share 3. This will take you to the screening room 4. Directly above the video there are 2 tabs that give you the option to share the Entire Video or the Music Video Highlights 5. Click on the “Share This Video” button 6. On the next screen enter the email addresses of the people you want to share your movies and add a short message. You have 2 options that let you define what your friends can do with the movies: - Allow my friends to share with their friends - Allow friends to purchase copies of this DVD 7. Click the “Share” button 8. Your friends will receive an email containing thumbnail images of the video clips and a clickable URL that will take them to the screening room. |
| Q: | Can my friends order YesDVD copies and share my movie with their friends? |
| A: | Yes, your friends can order their own copies of the YesDVD and share the movie ONLY if you granted them permission in the email invitation that originally shared the YesDVD. |
| Q: | Are my movies shared with the public? |
| A: | No. YesVideo created MemorySafe with the intention to keep your movies secure and private. We let you decide who can view your YesDVD movie memories. |
